What a complete dimensional report contains
The report ties three things together: the drawing (each dimension ballooned), the requirements (nominal, tolerance, applicable standard) and the evidence (measured value, instrument, operator, date). When a customer or auditor asks who measured characteristic 47 and with what, the answer has to be in the document.
